Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, Assistant Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • Report cards are available in the main office and can be picked up between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm

  • The Summer Acceleration Academy will begin this Monday, June 14th.  Students should report to the auditorium by 8:30am.  Lunch will be provided.  The academy will end at 3:15pm daily.  Students should bring their Chromebook fully charged.

  • Due to road construction, South Park Drive may be closed.  All student drivers are to park in the gravel lot near the baseball field.  All car riders must be dropped off and picked up on the Cypress side of the school.  Staff will be located at the entrance to assist with the traffic flow.

  • Congratulations to the class of 2021! We are proud of our graduates for reaching this milestone and look forward to seeing where your future endeavours will take you.  Good Luck!

  • Graduation photos can be ordered from Lifetouch by accessing the link on our website.  It will take about 3 - 4 weeks for photos to post.

  • Report cards will be ready for pick-up beginning on Wednesday at Noon in the front office.

  • The RHS Summer School/Learning Academy will begin next Monday.  Students are to arrive by 8:30am and should report to the theatre.  Registration is still open and can be done at the main office until Friday, June 11th at noon.   Please visit our website at reidsvillehigh.org.

  • Our summer hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday  - Friday.  Beginning the week of June 28th, we will be open only 4-days/week from 8:00am - 5:00pm.  The building will be closed on Fridays.

  • During the summer, we will not have regular weekly announcements.  Please watch our website for updates and information.

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, Assistant Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • Tomorrow, students will take their 5th period EOC exam.  Make-up exams will take place on Wednesday, June 2nd.

  • Wednesday will be an early release day.  Students will be dismissed at 1:30pm.  Buses will run to take students home.

  • Graduation rehearsal is scheduled for this Wednesday, at 2:00pm.  Graduate’s attendance at rehearsal is mandatory.

  • Graduation is scheduled for Friday, June 4th at 7:30pm in the RHS Stadium.  Gates will open at 6:00pm.

  • Each graduate will receive 8 tickets for family/friends.  In order to receive their tickets and their diploma, all fees and fines must be paid and Chromebooks/chargers and other Media Items must be returned to Ms. Howell.  Tickets will be distributed at rehearsal.

  • All students should return all books and materials to the Media Center ASAP.  Verizon Hotspots must be returned to Ms. Howell by June 1st (including the box, cords, and charging square.) so we may return them to Verizon.  

  • Seniors Lifetouch will be at graduation to take pictures of you receiving your diploma and they will do your Cap and Gown pictures after you exit the stage. There will be a link in the program for you and your parents to view and order these pictures.

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, Assistant Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • We will hold a “Senior Celebration” evening tomorrow, Monday, May 24th between the hours of 6:00p - 7:30p.  Seniors are encouraged to decorate their vehicles for this drive-thru event.  Please see CANVAS for details.

  • Senior Chromebook collection will begin on Wednesday, May 26th for those students who have completed all of their coursework and exams.  Please see the message from Ms. Howell for details.

  • EOC exams will begin this Wednesday, May 26th, and run through June 2nd.  The state requires students to take these exams in person.  Please ensure your Chromebooks are charged before coming to school for your exams.  The exam schedule will be placed on our website.

  • Cheerleading tryouts will be held this week; May 24th and run through May 27th from 3:45 - 5:00pm. An updated physical is required and students must wear appropriate attire.

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, Assistant Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • Teacher made exams will take place this week beginning on May 18th.  They will be administered during each individual class period.  

  • This Friday, May 21st, RHS will hold our prom from 7:00pm - 11:00pm.  Junior & Seniors who are going to the prom will receive an email from Ms. Walls and Ms. Mitchell with driving directions to the prom site.

  • If you have not done so already, please provide Mrs. Fleming with your college acceptance letters and scholarship awards, including the awarded amount. You may bring them by Student Services or submit your information via email to afleming@rock.k12.nc.us.  These items must be submitted no later than Wednesday by noon for your graduation program.

  • The RHS Choral Department will hold auditions for a new vocal ensemble being created next school year.  Auditions will be on May 20th during PRIDE and a virtual audition on May 21st during PRIDE.  Please look for an announcement on CANVAS for more details.  All students are welcome to audition.

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, Assistant Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • Tomorrow morning, Bus 37 may run a few minutes late.  We appreciate your understanding.

  • Seniors - Please contact your counselor and let them know if you have been accepted to any Community College, College, University, or Trade School. They will also need any scholarship information so we may have an accurate total for the 2021 Class Recognition.  Please submit information by tomorrow, Monday, May 9th.  

  • Students, this is a friendly reminder about dress code.  No head coverings should be worn inside the building (including but not limited to hats, hoodies and scarves.).  Jeans should not have holes/rips in them that are above mid-thigh and all pants should be worn up around the waist.  No sleepwear is permitted to be worn at school.  Masks should be worn at all times while on campus.

  • This past Saturday, the RHS Football team won the 2020-2021 2A State Championship Title.  We are proud of our team and coaches.  Congratulations!

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, Assistant Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • We have many celebrations to share with you this week.  First, we want to congratulate the RHS Football team and their coaches for capturing the 2A Regional Championship title.  On Saturday, May 8th, the RAMS will take on Mountain Heritage High School at Kenan Stadium on the campus of UNC - Chapel Hill at 5:00pm.  Information on tickets will be coming soon.

  • We also have two staff members to celebrate this week.  Mr. Bradshaw was selected as the RHS 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year and Ms. Campbell was selected as the RHS Classified Employee for 2021 - 2022.  Congratulations to you both.  

  • This week is teacher appreciation week.  We are so grateful to have such a wonderful and caring staff.  Please make sure you thank your teachers sometime this week.

  • Prom Tickets are on sale for Juniors and Seniors. Make sure you complete the form that is on the Class Canvas page prior to coming and purchasing your tickets. Tickets are $30. All students and guests attending prom must have completed an attestation form. Last day to purchase tickets is on Friday, May 14th.

  • 2021 Marching Band Leadership and Drum Major applications are available on the Band website. Please fill these out and return them to Mr. Pike by Monday, May 3rd. See Mr. Pike for more information.

  • Tomorrow, underclassmen will take their school photos for the yearbook.  Students should have received their picture schedule in CANVAS.

  • There will be a Marching Band Color Guard interest meeting after school on Tuesday, April 27th in the Band Room. For more information contact Mrs. McLaughlin or Mr. Pike

  • 2021 Marching Band Leadership and Drum Major applications are available on the Band website. Please fill these out and return them to Mr. Pike by Monday, May 3rd. See Mr. Pike for more information.

  • Friday night, the RHS Rams will take on Northeastern High School for the Regional Football Championship.  The game will begin at 7:30pm here at Reidsville High School.  Tickets are $10.00 and will be sold at the gate.

 

4/25/21

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, Assistant Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • Prom Tickets are on sale for Juniors and Seniors. Make sure you complete the form that is on the Class Canvas page prior to coming and purchasing your tickets. Tickets are $30. All students and guests attending prom must have completed an attestation form. Last day to purchase tickets is on May 14th.

  • Progress Reports will go out this week.  Students should continue to complete all of their work as we finish preparing for final exams.  This includes those who are virtual.  

  • Final reminder for FREE sports physicals all day on Wednesday, April 28. All participating students must have BOTH a signed, completed consent form as well as a signed, completed sports physical form. Forms may be picked up in the Student Health Center, Guidance, the Main Office, or from your coach. Please call the Student Health Center with any questions.

  • Just a reminder, students are to wear their face mask at all times while on campus or the school bus.

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, assistant principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • On behalf of the students, faculty and staff of Reidsville High School, we want to extend our appreciation and gratitude to our principal, Ms. Ann Mitchell for all of her work and dedication to RHS and wish her the best not only in her retirement, but as she begins her next chapter with the Danville Public Schools in Virginia.  

  • Tomorrow, we welcome Mr. Curtis Gore as our interim principal.  He will be with us throughout the remainder of the school year.

  • Reports Cards are in the main office and ready for pick-up.  Please come by between 8:30am and 4:00pm for pick-up.  

  • Friday April 23rd Jostens will be here during all four lunches to deliver senior items. (i.e. caps & gowns, stoles, invitations, and etc.) If you have a balance due you can pay that day with a check or money order, or go online and pay prior to the 23rd. If you are virtual, you can come during lunches 11:55 - 2:00 to pick your items up at the door to the cafeteria.

  • If you are interested in earning college credits while attending high school this fall, Rockingham Community College will be offering: Manual Machining Programming, Statistics, Introduction to Sociology, and Music Appreciation, to rising juniors and seniors. For this opportunity, no commute is necessary because the classes will be offered here at RHS. For additional information, please stop by Student Services to schedule an appointment with our Career Coach, Mrs. Galloway.

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, assistant principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with a couple of important Senior Announcements

  • We will hold a FASFA evening for seniors who need to complete their FASFA application on Thursday, April 16th from 4:00 pm  - 7:00pm in the Main Building commons area. Students should bring their charged Chromebook.  Parents should attend in order to complete the parent information section.  Current tax return information is necessary to complete the FASFA application.  Students should have completed their residency prior to coming.  Please contact your counselor if you have any questions.

Good evening, this is Mrs. Mitchell, principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

  • Underclassmen pictures will be taken on Friday, April 16th, here at the school. A schedule will be posted on Tuesday, April 13th.

  • Seniors who want to makeup their senior pictures need the following information: LifeTouch has a retake scheduled for our office on April 17th.  (One time only) The parent needs to email our photo manager, Lindsey Milani. Please email Ms. Milani at  lmilani@lifetouch.com to schedule an appointment, again this is for seniors only.

  • All students who were attending school on Plan B and returned an attestation form will attend school 5-days a week.  Students are reminded that face-to-face instruction begins at 8:25am. Students who were on Plan B are expected to be in school from 8:25am- 3:30pm daily. If students are not in school physically, they will be marked absent.  

  • Students will be served lunch at school or they can bring their lunch with them to school.  Please remember that we are not accepting student deliveries at the school.

  • If you have not paid your annual Chromebook insurance, please do so as soon as possible.  

  • Track and Field season begins on Monday, April 12th.  Anyone interested in track, please meet Coach Williams and Coach Solomon at the track immediately following school.  Please ensure that you are dressed and ready for practice. Practice will end at 6:00 pm.  If there is inclement weather,  please meet in the new gym. 

  • The Prom is scheduled for May 21st.  Students should see their CANVAS announcements for more information.  

  • Parking passes are available in the Main Office.  They are $15.00.

We are excited to announce that the Junior & Senior Prom is scheduled for Friday, May 7th at the Wright Memorial Event Center in Eden.  Tickets are $30.00/person and sales will begin tomorrow.  Please see your CANVAS page for more information.  

 

The Reidsville High School 20-21 Homecoming  date has changed to Thursday, April 1st during the Ram football game.  Presentation of the Homecoming King will take place prior to the start of the game. The Homecoming Queen will be crowned during the half-time ceremony. The court will consist of one princess and one prince from the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.  The Queen and King will be selected from the top 6 candidates of the Senior Class. 

 

Are you looking to work full time right after high school? Interviews will begin soon for seniors who are ready to go to full-time permanent work upon graduation.  Graduating seniors should email or talk to their Career Development Counselor, Mrs. Stubblefield, right away to schedule an interview.  DO NOT WAIT.  Companies are wanting to begin the hiring process now for June employment.  

 

This is a friendly reminder that Chromebooks Fees are past due.  The usage fee for the year is $30.00.  Please contact Mandy Campbell or come to the office to clear any outstanding fees.

 

The Student Health Center will be hosting free sports physicals on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.   Each student/athlete will need to have a signed SHC consent form (unless previously submitted) and a signed sports physical form, which is available in the SHC, the main office, and guidance. Forms are due back by April 1, 2021. 

 

March 23rd will be a remote day for all grades except 10th grade. The pre-ACT for tenth graders will be administered on March 23rd.  Make up testing for the ACT will be on March 23rd, for any 11th grader who was not present on March 9th. The Board of Education approved for students in those respective grade levels to come to school on those March 23rd to take these assessments.  Both of these tests are state mandated and must be completed. The state uses ACT scores as a component of our school report card.  Please encourage your student to be prepared and do their best on these assessments.  Students should also arrive with a fully charged Chromebook.

3/17/21

This is Ann Mitchell, your school principal,  with an important update for Grades 6-12 students!  As you know RCS students in Grades PreK-5 will return for five days instruction on March 22, 2021 with remote learning as an option for those who choose this.  The new update that we are excited to announce is that our Grades 6-12 students will also return to in person learning five days a week beginning March 30th!  A remote option for grades 6-12 is still available for those students/families who choose to continue to want this option as well.  

 

Any student who has not already returned to face to face instruction already, will need to submit an attestation from our school no later than March 19th for Grades 6-12.  You may find this attestation form on our district and school website.  Please download the form and complete this form for each of your children and submit no later than March 19th.  If you already submitted one of these forms in January, you do not need to submit another form. If you need assistance with this form, please call your us at the school.

  • There are many scholarship opportunities still available for students who plan to continue their education after high school.  They range from $1,000.00 - $10,000.00.  However, deadlines are quickly approaching. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to receive FREE MONEY.  Please see your CANVAS page for applications, instructions, and more information or contact your counselor for assistance.

  • March 23rd will be a remote day for all grades except 10th grade.   • Our spring parent nights will be on March 8th for ninth and tenth graders and March 10th for eleventh and twelfth grades.  The time for both parent nights will be from 4:30-6:30.  If you are attending, you should have completed the form sent to your student on Canvas.  Your safety is our first priority and will abide by all Covid-19 protocols. The Board of Education approved for students in those respective grade levels to come to school on those dates to take these assessments.  Both of these tests are state mandated and must be completed. The state uses ACT scores as a component of our school report card.  Please encourage your student to be prepared and do their best on these assessments.  Students should also arrive with a fully charged Chromebook.

  • We will begin collecting attestation forms for those students interested in returning to face-to-face instruction for the fourth quarter.  Forms can be turned in to the main office beginning tomorrow (Monday, March 8th).  All forms must be submitted no later than Monday, March 15th at 4:00pm.  Please remember that this is a request and placement is not guaranteed due limited classroom capacity protocols.

  • The Reidsville High School 20-21 Homecoming will be held on Friday, April 2nd during the Ram football game.  Presentation of the Homecoming King will take place prior to the start of the game. The Homecoming Queen will be crowned during the half-time ceremony. Students are encouraged to check their Canvas page March 1st  through March 3rd  for their class ballot to vote for their selections.  The court will consist of one princess and one prince from the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.  The Queen and King will be selected from the top 6 candidates of the Senior Class.

  • Thursday, February 25th is an Early Release Day.  Students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

  • Friday, February 26th is a teacher’s workday.

  • Due to the inclement weather last week, we are extending the deadline for current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students to return their class registration form for next school year.  All forms must be turned in to the guidance office no later than Friday, March 5th at 3:00pm.  Counselors will automatically assign students to classes if they do not return their form by this deadline.  Please call the Guidance Office if you have any questions.

Spring football season starts Monday all persons who plan on playing must attend practice which begins at 3:35 each day on the practice field. The football team will scrimmage at home on Friday, February 19th at 6 pm vs Rockingham County HS.

 

Report cards have been mailed out.  If you have not received your child’s report card, then let us know.

 

Registrations forms were due on Feb. 3rd.  If you have not registered for classes, please do so as soon as possible. Blank registration forms can be picked up this Monday thru Wednesday in front of the cafeteria from 9:00 am until 3:45 pm. Students can also view the registration forms on canvas, but it must be printed out and brought back to the school.  There will be a box set up outside of the main office for your convenience to return your  completed registration form this week.  We need these registration forms soon, so we can complete our school’s schedule for next year. Senior picture makeup day is this Friday, Feb. 5th in the cafeteria.

Good evening, this is Mrs. Mitchell, principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School, calling with an update about registration.

It’s time for students to register for their classes for the next school year.  There will be a drive-through registration pick up - this Wednesday, January 27th, from 9 am until 3:45 pm, and Thursday, January 28th, from 9 am until 6 pm.  The registration pick up is for all rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. The registration forms will be placed in front of the school on a table. If your student is face-to-face, they may pick up their registration form from the guidance office during regular school hours. Students will also have the option to view the registration form on canvas, but it must be printed out and brought back to the school.  All registration forms should be returned by next Wednesday, February 3rd. There will be a box set up outside of the main office for your convenience for completed registration forms.

Good evening, this is Mrs. Mitchell, principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School, calling with our weekly announcements.

 

The second semester has started off to a good start.  Now is the time for students to stay on top of their grades and assignments. If there are questions about classwork, please contact your child’s teacher. 

 

Tomorrow we will continue with our blended learning schedule.  Those students assigned to return to school for face-to-face learning will begin classes at 8:25am.  Virtual students will begin at 8:45am.  Students can find their new schedule in CANVAS.

 

Temperatures will be taken upon your arrival to school.  Please ensure your child has their mask and has charged their Chromebook.  Breakfast and lunch will be served to students in their classrooms.  We are unable to receive any outside deliveries for students.

 

Students who ride a bus to school should be at their stop 10 minutes prior to pick up time.   If a student is not certain of their bus number, they should ride the bus that makes the stop.  Buses have a 22 passenger limit so drivers may not transport more on any trip.  Buses will make a second trip if necessary to pick up students.  All students must wear a mask in order to ride the bus.

 

Anyone interested in playing spring football Mini-Camp will start Monday at 3:35 on the practice field in the event of rain we will start on Tuesday.

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, assistant principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School, calling with our weekly announcements.

Good evening, this is Mrs. Mitchell, principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School, calling with our weekly announcements.

 

Students requiring transportation to school to take an exam should be at their bus stop each morning.  Students may not be riding their regular bus as routes have been adjusted to accommodate the testing schedule.  If a bus stops, the students should ride.  Only high school students are being transported next week to take exams.  Students should not report to school unless they are scheduled to take an exam.  Students will not be permitted to remain on campus if they are not scheduled to take an exam.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all students who are taking exams. There is no cost for breakfast or lunch.

 

Teachers have notified your student if they are scheduled to take an EOC or CTE exam. Please make sure your student is wearing a mask tomorrow if they have testing.

 

Please remind your student to CHARGE AND BRING their school-issued Chromebook on exam days. Only those who have not gotten a school-issued Chromebook will be provided one. Also, chargers will not be available because we only have a few left.

 

There will be a list posted in the main commons that will tell you which classroom your exam is being administered in just in case you can not remember where to go.

 

Only students who are testing will be allowed to attend next week, if you student shows up and doesn’t have an exam, they will have to return home. 

 

Students should be at school by 8:20 am each day. The school will operate on a two-hour early release schedule, which means school will release at 1:30. 

 

Please remember that no Smart Watches or fitbits are allowed during testing. Cell phones must be turned off during testing or left at home. 

 

Due to the weather day this past Friday, we have extended the deadline for the Virtual MOU forms to tomorrow (January 11th) at 4:00 PM.  Again, this form is required ONLY if your child attended face to face learning in the fall and wishes to continue with virtual learning.  Attestation forms for students to participate in f-2-f learning are still being collected at the main office.

Good evening, this is Mrs. Mitchell, principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.

 

We hope each of you had a wonderful holiday break.  Students will return to virtual learning this Tuesday, January 5th.

 

The Board of Education voted on December 14th for our high school students to return to Plan B.  Plan B means students will be on an AA / BB day schedule and remote instruction on Wednesdays.  Plan B will start on January 21, 2021.

 

Parents/students have until January 8, 2021, to determine if they will remain virtual or if they will return to in person learning.  Students who have already submitted a MOU for full virtual learning do not have to submit another form.  Only students who want to change their status to full virtual need to complete the MOU.  Students wishing to return from full virtual to in-person learning need only to contact the school at 336-349-6361 and ask for Mr. Rice or Mrs. Mitchell.

  • We are still in the planning phase of creating our Title I parent night video.  Once the video has been completed, we will upload it to our website.

  • School will be closed for Thanksgiving holiday, November 25th-November 27th.  Students will return to online virtual learning on November 30th.  If students are behind, they can continue to work even during the break.

  • Report cards will be mailed home this week.  Once you have received your child’s report card, please ensure that you work with your child and make sure they turn in assignments.  If you have concerns about your child’s grades, please schedule a conference with the teacher or guidance counselor.

  • All National Honor Society inductees, please check your emails for an important National Honor Society questionnaire regarding your NHS induction. This information is essential in understanding how your virtual NHS induction will be conducted. The questionnaire needs to be completed by Wednesday October 28th. The date of the virtual ceremony is November 4th 7pm. Rehearsal will be Monday, November 2nd at 4pm over Zoom. You must attend rehearsal in order to participate in the ceremony.

  • Students let's show that RAM pride by participating in our Halloween Costume Day. AA students will be allowed to wear their costume on Tuesday, October 27 and BB students will wear their costumes on Friday, October 30th. Good evening this is Mrs. Mitchell, Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World school calling with an announcement.   We thank you and your family for being our valued partners as we work together to educate your child. Reidsville High School values input from our community – and we need to hear from your child! Students are important partners as we work to improve our communication, academic program, and overall experience for everyone. 

 

In order to learn more about student experiences at school, we will ask for your child’s feedback via an online survey they will be completing.  The survey shouldn’t take more than 20-30 minutes to complete. We will do this survey during CCRG time beginning this Thursday through October 9th.

 

We are asking that all of our students participate in the surveys, as their feedback will provide valuable insights into their experiences and how we can improve and adapt our school to their needs. We are providing a letter on our website and in Canvas with information for you to read. Please notify us if you would like your child to opt out of taking the survey by filling in your name and your child’s name on the letter we are making available today on our school’s website and Canvas. Student Council applications for the 2020-2021 school year are available on Canvas.  Please complete and submit to Ms. Walls by October 5, 2020.  No late applications will be accepted.  Students Council is open to students in grades 9-12. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Ms. Walls. 

 

Please visit your child’s Canvas page frequently.  We have a number of students who are not getting onto Canvas, zoom, or completing assignments.  We ask that parents monitor student assignments and grades.  If you see that your child is slipping behind feel free to contact the teacher so the student can recover the grade.  You can also reach out to your child’s guidance counselor. 

 

We have a few students who think that if they eat lunch or breakfast they have to pay for it.  Please let your child know that lunch and break meals are free for all students.

Please come through the carpool lane in order to have your temperature taken before parking your vehicle.  This form must on file at the school before any student may attend school.  

  • All students will follow the regular daily bell schedule with 1st period beginning at 8:25am.  You may click on the “Bell Schedule” link on the homepage of the RHS website.

  • Please remember that students who will ride the bus are required to wear a mask the entire time.  It is asked that students are at their bus stop approximately 15 minutes early.  If your bus is running late, please allow 20 minutes, after the bus time, before calling the school.  

  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all students.  Students may choose to bring their lunch.  However, microwaves will not be available for heating up food. The office is unable to accept any lunches dropped off during the school day.  

  • Remember that this Friday (September, 25th) will be a Virtual day for everyone due to a teacher workday.

  • We will post our weekly announcements on our webpage every week.

Good evening, this is Mr. Rice, Assistant Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with an important announcement:

  • Students who are scheduled to return to school for face-to-face learning must have a completed attestation form filed with the school PRIOR to returning on Monday.  Parents must sign this form and turn it in at the school.  We are unable to accept electronic copies.  We will have a tent in the student parking lot where parents can drive by to complete the form from 11am - 6pm tomorrow or you can print the form from our website (www.reidsvillehigh.org) and drop it off.  We thank the families who came out today to complete their forms.

  • Transportation information will be provided when families deliver the attestation form to the school.

  • Families who completed the MOU for virtual/remote learning do NOT have to come by the school to complete the attestation form.  Anyone who indicated virtual/remote learning will remain on this plan.  We are unable to process any change request for face-to-face learning at this time.

  • Progress reports will be mailed home for students who may be in jeopardy of failing the class.  Students can also view their grades in CANVAS.

Good evening this is Reidsville High, an IB World School calling with an announcement.  As a reminder freshman orientation and chromebook pick up is tomorrow from 3 pm until 7 pm.  There will be several information and department stations available for questions.  Please make sure you wear a mask when coming tomorrow.  Students will need a chromebook for remote learning.  The chromebook usage fee is $30. 

 

Upperclass orientation is this Thursday from 3 pm - until 7 pm. Stations will be set up for upperclassman.  If students need a chromebook, they can get one during orientation.

Reidsville Cheerleading will begin cheer tryouts this Monday, August 10th-August 14th from 6:30-8:00 pm.  Due to NCHSAA guidelines for Covid-19, varsity and JV squads will not practice together.  This is a closed tryout.  Please meet at the community stadium. Please ensure that your physical is current.

 

We will have a drive-through Freshman Orientation and Chromebook pick up for 9th graders on August the 12th from 3 pm until 7 pm.

 

On Thursday, August 13th we will have an Upperclassman drive-through orientation and Chromebook pick up for upperclassman without a device from 3 pm until 7 pm.

 

Friday, August 14th is reserved for those who missed the open house and need to pick up student information between the hours of 8 am until 4:00 pm. 

Senior Pictures will be taken on August 13th and 14th here on campus in the cafeteria. Seniors will need to check Canvas for the list and to see your date and time. Be prompt and practice proper Social Distancing. Seniors, will not be allowed to hang around once they are done. There will NOT be a seating fee and LifeTouch will take both formal (REQUIRED FOR YEARBOOK) and environmental pictures. If you do not see your name on the list please call the front office for an appointment time.
